How Does PROFHILO Works?

Our body produced Hyaluronic acid naturally. Its role is to produce collagen and retain moisture in the bod.

It can hold 1000 times its weight in water which makes it ideal for binding moisture in the skin.

With age however, hyaluronic acid production reduces, making the skin appear dull and dehydrated with fine lines and wrinkles formation.

PROFHILO® contains one of the highest concentrations of stabilised hyaluronic acid (64mg/2ml) on the market.

Because it is thermally bonded and not chemically bonded, it acts as a hydrator not a filler. It is injected just underneath the surface of the skin where it disperses quickly and reacts with your own tissue to instantly boost hydration.

Over the next 4 weeks phase two kicks in, boosting elastin and collagen production. This helps to remodel the skin and gives it a plumper, firmer and smoother appearance

This treatment is performed by first applying topical anaesthesia to ensure that the patient is as comfortable as possible.

PROFHILO® can be used on the neck, face, hands or any part of your body where the skin shows visible signs of ageing.

The Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique was specially developed for PROFHILO® and consists of only 5 injection points on each side of the face. These areas were singled out using selection criteria that reduces risks and increases spreadability.

With this technique, PROFHILO® diffuses through the different skin layers, across the widest sections of the face.

This results in an overall improvement in the appearance of the face, with increased elasticity, firmness, hydration and a reduction of lines and folds.

How Is PROFHILO Different from Dermal Fillers

Although PROFHILO® and dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, their characteristics and function differ in more ways than one.

PROFHILO® is a bio-stimulator and doesn’t change the structure of the face. Its formulation allows it to flow over an extended area to boost hydration, smooth and ‘remodel’ the skin.

In comparison, dermal fillers remain in the area they are placed in and restore loss of volume, enhance the facial structure and plump up deep lines and wrinkles in that area.
